This TCT Cutter is specifically designed for creating holes in metal pieces. It only cuts a groove at the periphery of the hole and leaves a slug at the center. This kind of cutters is most commonly used with magnetic drilling machines, for their stability against high torque forces. Moreover, it requires less thrust and energy for drilling through materials. Further, the TCT Cutter has a unique geometry that allows users to cut materials at awkward angles with precision. It is also much faster than conventional drill bits. In addition, it does not require pre-drilling and step-drilling.
